Colm Murphy & Sue Featherstone will present a case study on Michael Smurfit Business School University College Dublin’s Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching.

Through a process of practice and feedback from tutors, peers and supervisors, delegates develop a range of coaching skills and an understanding of coaching cultures in organisations. Coaching supervision is built into the programme with the provision of one-to-one supervision between workshops to support ongoing learning and professional development. EMCC Accreditation is established at Senior Practitioner Level.

Bio

Colm Murphy is the EMCC Global WorkGroup Leader for Team Coaching. Colm is Head of Coaching Programmes at University College Dublin Smurfit School of Business and contributes to their executive development programmes. He is the Founder of Dynamic Leadership Development Ireland; official partner in Ireland for Zenger Folkman, a global leader in leadership research and development. Working with leaders and teams to achieve learning, growth and transformation that results in high performance, Colm helps his clients clarify success and purpose, recognise their strengths and development areas through diagnostics and feedback, create a plan that is aligned to the organization, and execute successfully till the behaviour or mindset change is embedded. His  clients include EMC, Activision, Agilent, Apple, Twitter, LinkedIn, UCD, American Chamber of Commerce, Arthur Cox, Allianz, Eircom, Irish Life, Pfizer, CityJet, Environmental Protection Agency, and Dept of An Taoiseach. As a coach, his distinctiveness is in combining his own personal global blue chip leadership experience with a track record of coaching success built on his ability to build rapport, provide support and challenge, raise awareness, think systemically and explore the psychological dimensions of performance. He was a director in Symantec and previously head of Learning in Deloitte Ireland. Colm is currently completing a professional doctorate focussing on Team Coaching with the University of Portsmouth Business School in the UK.

Sue Featherstone has a wealth of experience and qualifications in coaching, and have coached managers and directors for many years, both within organisations as a HR Director and externally as a consultant. Sue an Associate Lecturer at Michael Smurfit Business School University College Dublin. She is also the Managing Director at Developing Success, a Management Development Consultancy offering Organisational Development, Executive 1:1 Coaching, Team Coaching and leadership development. She delivers leadership development, coach training programmes and provides executive coaching on a one-to-one basis or with teams. She also writes bespoke programmes for organisations, tailored around their specific business objectives.
