Dr Andrea Giraldez-Hayes & Julia Papworth will present a case study on University of East London’s Master in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.

The University of East London MSc Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology fully integrates positive psychology and coaching psychology to create an innovative training programme for those promoting wellbeing in organisations, education establishments and businesses worldwide. The programme has a strong foundation in cutting-edge theory and research, featuring advanced training in working with clients and groups in professional capacities. Participants develop an understanding of the main psychological theories that underpin and support evidence-based coaching practice.

Bio

Dr Andrea Giraldez-Hayes is the Programme Leader for the Master in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at the University of East London, and Director of Online Learning and the Ibero-American division of Growth Coaching International. She is an EMCC Accredited Master Practitioner Coach and Mentor,  lecturer and consultant with an international reputation helping individuals and organisations to flourish. Curious and passionate about learning, self-improvement and personal and professional development, Andrea is a person of many talents built throughout 30 years of experience in different jobs across international education sectors. Convinced of the power of Coaching and Positive Psychology she helps people to achieve stretching personal and professional goals. Clients and peers describe her as an inspirational facilitator and empowering coach.

Julia Papworth is a lecturer in Coaching Psychology at the University of East London and a member of the MSc in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) Programme Team. Julia creates rich, blended learning opportunities maximising the integration of theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and reflective practice. She coaches a range of private and corporate clients in executive and senior management, building a trusting relationship where the deeper more fundamental development work can take place around identity, beliefs, and values; the backbone to all significant change in the individual and organisation.
