For the first time in working history, there are four different generations working side by side. Why should employers and managers care about generation gaps in their workforce? Research has shown that bridging significant differences between the generations with effective workplace strategies creates more successful organisations; employees are happier, healthier, and more productive, and organisations are more competitive and higher performing.
This round table dialogue will explore:
Dr Mary Collins is a Senior Executive Development Specialist at Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) Institute of Leadership – working in Ireland, Bahrain and Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining RCSI, Mary was Head of Talent and Learning for Deloitte Ireland for seven years. She is a Graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and Committee Member of the Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group of PSI. Academic roles include Programme Co-Director of the MSc in Leadership and Professional Diploma in Clinical Leadership. Thesis supervisor for Irish and Middle Eastern students at doctoral and masters level.
