Zoe Spittle will present a case study on NHS Leadership Academy’s Bespoke Practitioner Mentoring Programme.
The NHS Leadership Academy has identified the following four key drivers that underpin the purpose of Coaching and Mentoring in a wider leadership development and national context. Coaching and Mentoring are used:
The South West Leadership Academy have designed this programme to provide current mentors with the opportunity to complete a programme of training accredited by EMCC Global at Practitioner level. On successful completion of the programme graduates receive a EMCC Global Quality Award (EQA) Bespoke Programme Certificate, and are also recommended for their EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) as a Mentor and Coach at Practitioner level or Foundation level depending on the breadth and length of mentoring and/or coaching experience and practice. This Bespoke Programme has been skillfully designed to meet the Practitioner level standards, incorporating prior mentoring experience of the participants and building on their professional practice to enhance their knowledge, understanding and skills practice to achieve individual accreditation as a part of the programme.
EMCC Global Assessor Feedback: This is an impressive programme which demonstrates exemplary design, delivery and evaluation methodology, with embedded individual accreditation clearly evident. I commend the programme team for their commitment, enthusiasm and energy; it is a delight to recommend this programme for EQA Bespoke Programme Accreditation at Practitioner Level.
